Terms of Use

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Welcome to LightCast Suite ("LightCast," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LightCast Suite website (lightcastsuite.com) and the LightCast Suite iOS mobile application (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

The Service

LightCast Suite provides weather-based forecasting tools for photographers, including GoldCast (golden hour and sunset scoring), StarCast (night sky and Milky Way forecasting), DroneCast (drone flight conditions), and TriCast (camera calculators). Forecast data is sourced from third-party weather providers and is presented as informational guidance only. Weather forecasts are probabilistic and may not be accurate. You should not rely solely on LightCast data for safety-critical decisions, including but not limited to drone operation, travel planning, or any activity where conditions may affect personal safety.

Subscriptions

The LightCast iOS app offers an auto-renewing subscription ("LightCast Premium") priced at $2.99 USD per month (or local equivalent as determined by the App Store) with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Pricing may vary by region and is disclosed in the App Store.

Billing. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews for the same term unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing your subscription. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Free trial. The 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers only. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. If you cancel before the end of the free trial period, you will not be charged.

Refunds. Refund requests for subscriptions are handled by Apple. You may request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Terms of Use: Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA)
